Public guided tour
Every 1st Sunday of the month at 3 p.m., 3,- € plus entrance fee, without registration.

The public guided tour may be cancelled due to exhibition changes.
Please inform yourself before your visit here on the website or under the phone number given on this page if the guided tour will take place!

Barrier-free access
The museum building is accessible for visits with wheelchairs or strollers.
A wheelchair can be provided.
For barrier-free access, please report to the intercom stele to the left of the stairs at the museum entrance.

Please note:
Bags and backpacks (larger than DIN A 4) must be locked up at the checkroom free of charge.
Dogs and other animals are unfortunately not allowed in the museum.

Museum store

Our museum store is open for you. We are pleased to welcome you to the Museum Shop of the Leopold-Hoesch-Museum. You can expect a diverse selection ranging from great products to the classics, such as the delicious Hoesch wine and the popular felt flowers. A current selection of annual gifts from the Düren Museum Society will also be on sale here.

Café

In the museum café of the LHM, in addition to a small selection of drinks and food, a very special ambience awaits you thanks to the installation Saigon Wrap and Other Natural Phenomenons (2010) by the artist Claus Föttinger, which was created especially for the Leopold Hoesch Museum to mark the opening of the extension to the building in 2010.
Admission to the café is free. Current Corona food service rules apply.

Places of interest

Situated close to the Eifel and the open-cast lignite mines of the Rhenish Plain, Düren offers not only the Leopold Hoesch Museum and the Paper Museum but also other sights and cultural monuments, such as the Anna Church by the modernist architects Rudolf and Maria Schwarz, a lively weekly market and the Düren City Museum.
